The Virtual Rodeo Qualifier (VRQ) is promoting discounted entry fees during July for the Kimes Ranch Million Dollar Breakaway Roping, taking place November 24–30 in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Throughout July, nomination fees for PRCA, UPRA, and IPRA rodeos will be $50 for single-round events and $100 for multi-round events. Division One points are guaranteed, distributed using the single-round point scale to up to ten placings. Athletes earn points through VRQ participation without needing top-ten finishes or prize money. Registration occurs via the VRQ platform.
For the first time, the platform enables direct qualification to the Million Dollar Breakaway. The top 20 competitors on the Kimes VRQ Leaderboard from April 2 through November 2, 2025, will earn event spots alongside semifinalists from other qualifying avenues. No additional entry fees apply for VRQ qualifiers.
The inaugural Million Dollar Breakaway debuted in 2024, produced by Kimes Ranch Jeans and CN Productions. The event was nationally televised on FOX Sports, both live and as a featured program on the FOX Network. It celebrates western heritage while elevating women's rodeo visibility.
The VRQ, launched in 2018, serves as the premier global points-based qualification system for top-tier rodeo events. The platform has awarded over $20 million in new money to rodeo athletes and boasts more than 27,000 registered users.
