Breakaway Ropers Gain New Path to $1 Million Payout Through VRQ Qualification

Rodeo Logistics announced a groundbreaking qualification pathway for breakaway ropers competing for the Kimes Ranch Million Dollar Breakaway Semi-Finals in November at WestWorld in Scottsdale, Arizona. The Virtual Rodeo Qualifier (VRQ) platform now enables athletes to earn spots through a points-based, global qualification system that transcends geographic limitations. The VRQ qualification window runs from April 1 through November 2, 2025, with the top twenty competitors on the leaderboard securing automatic berths alongside qualifiers from three live events: First Chance, Oklahoma's Richest, and Last Chance qualifiers. Launched in 2018, the VRQ has distributed over $19.7 million in new prize money across rodeo competitions. The platform distinguishes itself by accepting results from approximately 15,000 eligible public rodeo events annually and boasts more than 27,000 registered users.
